Recently, a Junior Firefighter from the East Petersburg Fire Company, Jay Jucunski, was diagnosed with Leukemia and he is currently in the Hershey Medical Center for a six month treatment program.
His family and the East Petersburg Fire Company have requested that you keep Jay in your prayers and they have also requested that cards be sent to him to keep his spirits up. If you would like to send Jay a card, mail them to the address below and the members of the East Petersburg Fire Company will see that he receives them. The address is:

WEST LANCASTER IS A 100% VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY
Our Fire Protection Dictrict includes the West Lancaster, West Lawn, Manor Ridge, Fairway Park, Pheasant Ridge, Colonial Manor, Spring Manor, Charleston, Wilshire Hills and Woods Edge sections of Manor Township and the Wheatland Hills section of East Hempfield Township.
We operate out of one fire station which is located at 1697 Temple Ave., just South of the Hess gas station on Columbia Ave.
West Lancaster responds to about two hundred fifty to three hundred emergency calls per year.
We operate with three pieces of apparatus including an engine (pumper), a heavy duty rescue and a command vehicle.
Our membership meetings are held monthly at 7:30 pm at the fire station.
