Our engines provide both vehical rescue and fire rescue service.
Engine 6-8-1
Engine 6-8-1 is a 1991 Ottawa/Beck pumper. It has a 1500 gpm pump and 500 gallons of water. The engine also has a 50 gallon foam cell. The engine has 8 preconnected handlines, with 1000 feet of 5 inch supply line. Engine 6-8-1 is due first on all fire related calls for West Lancaster.

Rescue 6-8
Rescue 6-8 is a 1997 Spartan/Salisbury Heavy Rescue. The rescue has a 250 gpm pto pump with a 200 gallon water tank. The rescue also has a 25 gallon foam cell. Rescue 6-8 also has an on board Amkus vehicle rescue system. For Lighting the rescue has 2 light towers. The first is a 48 ft metal halide light tower. The second tower is a 24 6,000 watt quartz tower. The rescue also has apx 1200 feet of life saftey rope, and a full complament of confined space rescue equipment. Rescue 6-8 also has a full aray of ems equipment, along with small hand tools. Rescue 6-8 is due first on all rescue and public service calls for West Lancaster.
